Hi! I’m Henrietta Swope, an American astronomer who specializes in variable stars. On behalf of the Carnegie Institution for Science, I would like to welcome you to the Las Campanas Observatory (LCO). We are a science center dedicated to research in astrophysics, located in the middle of a magical landscape where nature, science, and people live in harmony.
